Marc O’Gwynn,
Director of Compliance
Marc O’Gwynn, Director of Compliance, is responsible for the compliance activities of the organization. His role includes the implementation of compliance programs and URAC accreditation and the support of clinical staff and clients with compliance and regulatory related functions.
Marc has over 20 years of experience in compliance, healthcare management and provision of clinical care. As the Vice President of Compliance and Regulatory at Pediatric Services of America (PSA), Marc facilitated the accreditation process for several national accrediting agencies and was responsible for all regulatory related activities including audit and licensure.
In addition, Marc is a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) and worked with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) as a surveyor in the home care program. Marc earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama and his Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). At UAB, Marc was a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
