Senior Vice President of Operations
Jim Andrews, R.Ph. is the Senior Vice President of Operations for Cypress Care. Mr. Andrews’ primary responsibility is to provide overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of Cypress Care’s pharmacy and ancillary healthcare services units. In addition, he oversees and drives the continuing efforts to enhance processes, quality, structure, and consistency throughout the two operation units.
Mr. Andrews received his pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia. He comes to Cypress Care with over 25 years experience in retail chain pharmacy. His past responsibilities included accountability for pharmacy systems development and support with a primary focus on the utilization of pricing, clinical drug data and managed care claims submission. Mr. Andrews has also worked as a member of the pharmacy operations management team with an increasing scope of responsibilities to include district and regional management.
He is a member of the Georgia and Florida Pharmacists Associations, the American Pharmacist Association, American Society for Automation in Pharmacy (ASAP), Florida Society of Hospital Pharmacists, National Council of Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. He is currently licensed to practice pharmacy in Florida and Georgia.
