Cypress Care is now part of Healthcare Solutions. Founded in 2001 by the Datelle family, Cypress Care entered the workers’ compensation industry in 2001 with a vision of revolutionizing the way pharmacy and specialty healthcare cost management was addressed – through outcome-focused, customer-driven strategies and the functional application of innovative technology. Expanding its products and services to other markets by applying expertise and best practices has resulted in Cypress Care being positioned as a thought leader in the workers’ compensation and auto casualty markets.
In 2007, Brazos Private Equity Partners, LLC, a Dallas-based private investment firm aligned Cypress Care with Procura Management, a Philadelphia-based disability management organization providing a comprehensive array of services to the workers’ compensation, auto casualty and group health managed care markets. This partnership led to the formation of Healthcare Solutions and creates a complete workers’ compensation and auto cost management source for insurance companies, employers, managed care organizations (MCOs) and third party administrators (TPAs).
